Yugeta Soy Sauce produces the finest soy sauce by using only carefully selected ingredients and natural fermentation.
The soybeans used are JAS-certified organic, which accounts for only 0.018% of Japan's domestic consumption, and the wheat used is JAS-certified organic, which accounts for only 0.009% of Japan's domestic consumption. They are fermented and aged for over a year in cedar barrels.
These wooden barrels have been used since the Meiji era, and Yugeta Soy Sauce's wooden barrels are home to 300 types of yeast and lactic acid bacteria unique to the brewery, which allows them to brew soy sauce with a deep, pleasant aroma.
