Demeter is a third-party certification for agricultural products produced using biodynamic farming methods, a type of organic farming.
In addition to not putting a strain on the natural environment, biodynamic production methods respect the natural processes, for example harvesting during the full moon, when the nutrients are most concentrated in the above-ground parts of the plant.
It is believed that by drawing out the inherent power of the ingredients, trace elements such as polyphenols are increased, which enhances the flavor of the fruit.
Take it out of the freezer and place it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. When it becomes soft enough to press the sides of the container with your fingers, it is ready to eat. When you are ready to eat it, knead it a little to incorporate air, which will make the gelato melt better in your mouth.
